Winter Series Information & Payout Schedule

                         MATCH SCHEDULE

After deliberating this at our last club meeting, we will still use CMSA's scoring and point tracking program but will use our own system for payout.   As a club we want to keep as much money in class as possible and really encourage the lower numbered shooters to immerse in this sport.

We also recognize the fact that we need to continue to entice the higher number shooters to come to our shoots even though there may not be a full class, and to shoot for that "overall" check.   With that said, as advertised we are paying out 50% of entry fee this year with 20% of that going to the overall checks.   The overall checks will be gender split with a 60/40 payout between champion and reserve.

Be sure to watch our website for prizes and sponsor info.   We are also going to try a couple of different things this year that should be lots of fun.    Stay tuned!

** All Matches will be Double World Qualifier Points **

The times from each shoot will be combined

»   The rider with the lowest combined times wins.
»   Must be present at all three shoots to be considered for series prizes!
»   Series awards do not include the Friday night Eliminators!

Overall Rookie Buckle

~ Awarded to the TOP SERIES ROOKIE ~
* Must attend all three Winter Series Shoots
And be a first-time competitor in Mounted Shooting.

- If available We will award class prizes for series winners ONLY to classes that are full at 2 out of 3 of the matches.

Move Up's

- If a rider happens to move up during the series they will be considered for class series prizes, based on the class they are in, prior to the start of the April shoot.   Their times will follow with them.

For example if a rider is a Ladies 2 in December and they have 3 wins and they win in December and move up to a Ladies 3, and if there is a full class of Ladies 3's at December and one of the other two shoots, that rider would be eligible for the prize for the Ladies 3, class winner for the series.

- Please note there will be a slight change in the Wrangler division.   Open Wranglers will not be led through the course and will not have the option of pre-riding the course prior to their run.   An adult walking on the ground will show them how to run the course but they will not be led through with the lead line Wranglers.   Limited Wranglers have the option of being led through the course once to become familiar with the pattern.   Wranglers may ask as many questions as necessary in order to help them understand the courses.   Open Wranglers may NOT lead Limited Wranglers through the courses.
